You should also keep a check on your blood pressure because chronic and acute stress can cause it to be high and it can be dangerous. You may feel chest pain and heart palpitations, hives, and jaw pain if you grind your teeth.

Emotionally, you should watch for nervousness, anxiety disorders, irritability or frustration. You may feel like you are not good enough, and that you are not able to do well in your job, and that you do not deserve anything you have. Stress can have a very negative effect on your emotions if the stress is negative.

Stress not only affects you, but it can also affect those around you and your relationships. You and your loved ones may experience an increase in arguments, overreactions. Similarly you may have conflicts with coworkers. You need to watch how stress is affecting you so that you can see the signs coming on.

It may be as simple as taking a long, hot soak in the tub or taking several deep breaths. Maybe even yoga or meditation can help you. Watch out for these stress symptoms and when you feel them do stress management techniques and you will feel a lot better afterwards.
